Hi Sparrows

Do you have any additional info on this person or his family?  :)

Some information on his children etc - possibly his father in law. I’d love to find his baptism but no luck so far. What about you?
Incidentally, my mother is buried at Mynyddislwyn church. I grew up in its shadow, although living away now.

There is also Jane and Leah.  I'm related to Leah. The census returns & Mynyddislwyn records have information on them. The Reverend’s will is also very interesting.

Is that the Leah Davies, born 1843? She is the granddaughter of John and Leah. Mary (daughter of John and Leah) married a Joseph Davies and they had a number of children including Leah. These details are on the 1851 census.

‘My’ Leah was born in 1822, but died in 1849. She had married Eleazar Edwards. John & Leah Davies bought up her two children, Sarah & David.

Leah (b 1843) was the daughter of Mary, who had married Joseph Davies (no relation!).

Repeating all the names does make research interesting

Ah yes that makes sense now. I’ll add those details to my tree thanks. Is it possible to have a copy of John’s will?
