My Nan - mums mum - was Martha Ellis b 1898 - Garston,Liverpool - TEN SIBLINGS
father Joseph Thomas Ellis b 1857 ,Garston - NINE SIBLINGS
father - Edward Ellis - B 1799 - Flint ,North Wales
Edward came to Garston to work in The Copper works - MANY Welsh came to liverpool as they knew how to work Copper

so - if you get any ELLIS family associated with Garston ,Liverpool I have every one since 1835 -Anne Ellis -first born of  Edward and Mary ( Tipping ) Ellis ... :)

Fagin777 I've emailed you  :) However I've only got as far back as John Ellis and Annie McHale. These were my mother in laws great grandparents, my husbands great great grandparents. There is a possible Patrick Mchale that would be Annies dad.

My MIL was real Liverpool, but came to Hinckley, Leicester at some point. Her mum was Lucy Ellis 1904-1987.
My husband was born in Hinckley.
