Hello, I'm new to this forum. I am descended from Johan Wilhelm Hees who was my Great Grandad through my mothers side. I went to Germany a few years ago and got quite a bit of info on him. He was born in Bopfingen but then the family moved to Mergentheim when he was a child. Mergentheim is a Catholic town in a mainly Protestant region.

Also very new to this forum and related to Johan Wilhelm Hees, interested to hear any info you have on him!
