People in institutions (workhouse, hospital, gaol, etc.) will be listed under their initials. Have you tried searching that way yet?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Zion, No help to you I'm afraid, but I am also trying to find someone on the 1911 census, this one in either Scotland or Ireland, I have tried everything, and have come to the conclusion that some people were simply ''missed off''.....either by mistake, or they didn't want to be included, for whatever reason......Del.

You search by using initials only. In this case surname M, and forename J. I searched the 1911 census for a JM, aged 82, born Co Down & Presbyterian. None were listed, so it doesn't look as though he was in hospital.

I can see 3 or 4 John Moore deaths, all born around 1829, registered in Newtownards in the period 1901 – 1911. Have you investigated any of them?
