Martha Sherriff in Welwyn/Hatfield Herts?

I'm looking for Martha Sherriff in Herts who I guess was baptised, say, between 1759 and 1771.

Since Martha and James (Allen), whom she married at Oxford in 1789, subsequently lived in Tetsworth, Oxon, where James was born near the Bucks border, I have looked in Oxon and also Bucks - but with no success. A respondent has suggested, however,  that there is a large, long established, farming family living around Welwyn/Hatfield, Herts - St. Mary's?/St Etheldreda's?

(The marriage record at Oxford says she is a lodger, provides no ages, occupations or fathers' names.)

So, would some kind person please check a baptism for Martha Sherriff - probably some time between 1759 and 1771).

Thanks, Rosie. Certainly, a strong possibility. Two of James and Martha's children were called Sarah and William.

I wonder, are the any further details?
