A death in Bracebridge Heath Mental Hospital
« on: Friday 14 September 12 14:23 BST (UK) »
Hello

I'm trying to find out more about the death of my great grandmother. Apparently she as admitted to Bracebridge Heath sometime around 1945 or at least we think it was then - could go up into the 1950s. We know that she died in there but have been unable to find any details about when she died.

Her name was Sarah Ann Burrows (nee Balls) and she lived in Long Sutton Lincolnshire. She was bon in 1879 in Hull.

Thanks in advance

Melanie

Could it be this one?  Right district for Bracebridge Heath.

Deaths Jun 1945
BURROUGHS    Sarah A    (68)    N.Kesteven    7a   442
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

I think so - my aunt thought that perhaps she died in 1945 but couldn't be sure.

Name spelt differently again - you would not believe how many different spellings we've come across which has made things so hard to find.
