Have you tried one of the genealogy sites?
I contacted members with the same ancestors and got some fantastic photos emailed to me e.g. My 3x great grandparents' golden wedding party in 1898!
Jamiesons, Martins and McGonigals of Coleraine, Londonderry
and

They do 14 days free trial. Maybe the others do too?

I didn't use the message boards. I contacted them directly. I clicked on search records, entered the name and dates and looked their trees if they were public! Some already have photos on their trees and you can add them to yours and print them off. Some people reply and some don't. As long as you're polite, always worth a go.
