Thank you so much for the information. If we wanted to order a copy of the will who would we order from also do you think we have any living relatives left in Belfast.
Thank you so much for providing this information it brings tears to or eyes to know where we come from. It was very interesting how my grandmother ended up with the name Stewart in her name.

Kind regards
Mary

I would simply contact PRONI citing details of the will and where you live and see what they say...

Here's the abstract of the will. PRONI should have the original and will normally provide a copy (for a fee). If you can go in person it is free to inspect it and 40p a sheet to copy it.

Full Abstract :
Kirkwood Duncan of 11 Ashgrove Park Cliftonville Belfast retired secretary died 16 September 1929 Probate Belfast 13 January to William Moorehead accountant and Kyle McClean Alexander secretary. Effects £343 9s. 6d.

Hi Mary
Found the following snippet from a newspaper dated July 1893, could this be your Eliza Kirkwood, as this would give you an earlier address.
"Mortimer Jones was charged with fraud for having obtained money from Robert Chestnut, of 13 Chambers
Street, by claiming his niece was dead. He also told this story to Eliza Kirkwood of 54 Percy Street, who gave him £1. He was returned for trial at the Assizes."
Hope it helps.

Hi, my name is Heidi Lefebvre and I am the great-granddaughter of Edward & Mary. My Grandmother is Sarah (Sadie) Kirkwood Johnston, my mother is Beverly Johnston Lefebvre. If anyone as information on this family tree, please share, it would be greatly appreciated.
