where do i begin to trace my italian relatives

i am looking for information in regards to my grandparents on my mothers side my grandfather is john delsanto born 2-6-1895 they say he came from naples,his parents listed as michael delsanto and celia no maiden name given,supposly he came to the us in 1896 but i do not find his name,maybe they changed it on him.if he was only 1 at the time his parents had to come to the us.but i do not know for sure the only sibling i know of is a thomas delsanto and both him and my grandfather are deceased,my grandmother was maria disano also born in 1895 her parents are john disano and angelina perechino,from st apollinaro italy.not sure when they came to us both they are buried in st ann's cemetary in cranston r.i.death cert of john disano list a son fransico(frank)and on my grandmothers obit she had a sister filomenia,

You should probably begin a new post for the Italianside of your family on the Europe board. Maybe Aghadowey could split this for you?
