Robinson - Arram, East Yorkshire

Hi,

I'm looking for information on my 2xGt-Grandmother, SARAH JANE ROBINSON, born c.1836 in Arram, East Yorkshire.  In 1854 she married William Underwood at North Cave, and gave her fathers name as WILLIAM ROBINSON.

In the 1851 census Sarah Jane was living away from her family - she was a servant for a retired attorney.  I haven't yet found her on the 1841 census so I have no further details of her family.

From the IGI the nearest possible baptism is for Sarah Jane Robinson, daughter of William and Hannah Robinson, Leconfield, 31st August 1834.  Arram was a hamlet in the parish of Leonfield.

My Gt-Grandmother Laura Underwood was born 1865 - I have the family in 1871 living and farming at Oxmandike.
