So you think they may have lived at Brazzacott Cross - or somewhere on Poor House Hill? Do you know what local people say about the origin of the name of the hill?

I found this house in my great-grandmother's papers.  Her family came from near Trossell, North Petherwin.  John Blake Strike married Elizabeth Parsons and they came to Wisconsin in the 1850s.  We think this house might be from family who remained in England.  Is this house recognizable to anyone familiar with the area?  Someone from Facebook suggested a connection to Poorhouse Hill which led me to this chat.
