When I first saw it, she reminded me of Petula Clark. Some of the photoies on Google from the early days does show bit of a resemblence.

Hi Bob,

Just wondered if you could help with when you think this photo was taken?
You say the 1960's but having lived through the 60's thats 10 years.
Its def not Marion Ryan as I used to see her walk past the end of my street
when I was a child with her children Paul and Barry Ryan.  It was unusual
to see twins in those days.
I know the womans face but am finding it hard to recall her.  Could be a few
ladies from the 60's singers like Adrienne Poster
Julie Grant or even Dodie West
Not alot of photos of these ladies nowadays.  To me she looks older than they
would have been looks more like someone born end of the 1930's or beginning
of the 1940's.
How old was your Dad on the photo, could help the search better

She looks like someone who found fame pre-60s to me (remembering that "the Sixties" began about 1963).  Of course she could well have been "doing the clubs" after that.

Not Adrienne Posta or Julie Grant.

Do we know where it was taken: Was dad in the business or was this just a special event? Might help to get the date

Hi,

No Dad wasn't in the business. He was a chauffeur driving the Chairman of Glaxo around. What he was doing giving lifts to celebrities I don't know. I have another photo of him driving Miss World (Miss India) around - and that was 1966.

Not entiring sure the date of this picture - I would guess 1960-65.

could she be a startlet!  she has a look of   (I am sorry.....) Kylie Minoque........ but it is not her Mother, who was a DANCER ...as she had emigrated to Aus at the age of 12..... 

Dont think its Yana Jim ... as her eyebrows are not severe enough.
but her name had run through my mind.

as with most suggestions...   So I am drawing a blank... but still thinking....
