Barnard - Bubwith

Hi,

Looking for anyone with connections to, or information on, the Barnard family from Bubwith.

My 3xGt-Grandmother was Hannah Barnard, born c.1810 in Bubwith.  In 1835 she married George Smith in Bubwith.  In the 1851 census the family are living at Groves Farm, Howden.

On the IGI there are two possible baptisms, both for Hannah Barnard's in Bubwith:
10th June 1807 - parents Chas. & Jane Barnard
19th August 1810 - parents John & Ann Barnard

Any further information very gratefully received.

The Smith family, Hannah and george are not at Groves farm Howden in 1861. There are two Smith's there as servants as below:

Hi Wobbly,

Thanks for looking.  I can't place either John or Joseph Smith unfortunately.

I know that Smith is a common name, but still it's coincidental that there is another Smith at Groves Farm in 1861.

After 1851 I lose my Smith family until 1881 when I've traced some of the children and Hannah Smith (nee Barnard) is a widow living with her married daughter in Liverpool.

George Smith was born c.1811 in 'Goudle' Yorkshire according to the 1851 census.  I'm not sure what 'Goudle' is meant to be - I did think it might be Goole.
