I am told these people are my grandparents. Does anyone have them on their family tree or know anything about them ?

A good place to start would be www.freebmd.org.uk which allows you to search births, marriages and deaths in England and Wales since 1837.  A quick search shows Ivy H Harvey dying Dec qtr 1943 in Edmonton registration district aged 27 which would give a birth date of c1916.  The death cert might give you clues depending on who registered the death

I take it they weren't married if she died under the name Harvey.

A birth certificate for their child (your father or mother presumably) might give more information.

I don't know much about them Ivy died age 27 of acute leukaemia age 27 at North Middlesex County Hospital. I have her death certificate.She lived in Victoria Rd Tottenham. Her father Joseph Henry Harvey was already dead by then her mothers name on the death certificate is D. Hinns. My mother her daughter was put into an orphanage. There might have been others I do not know.                                                                                                          For James Frederick Bowman I have a birth certificate he was born at Homfield Cottages East End Rd, East Finchley. I don't think they exist any more.                                                                                                  They were not married for all I know he could have been married to someone else. I also don't know about brothers sisters etc. I think my mum did look but never found out much.

A possible for D Hinns.  There is a Dorothy Harvey marriage to Albert Hinns in 1936 Edmonton.

Working back from that marriage of Joseph H Harvey to Dorothy G Arnold in 1921 Edmonton.
