Hi Tony

Thanks for adding this.  I'd be very surprised if the "B" in Emily's name didn't stand for "Beale".  It would also appear that at some point Joseph dropped the "Hall" from his surname & simply started calling himself Joseph Henry Beal.  He shows up in several census records in Whitstable using this name.
