Hi Norrie

Is there anyone buried in Kirkcaldy with the names Andrew and Harriet (nee Chalmers) Blackwood. Harriet died on 1 December 1853 aged only 52. They are my 4x great-grandparents and the parents of my 3x great-grandfather James Ferguson Blackwood, who emigrated to New Zealand in 1858.

Their infant son Andrew is also buried there, he died on 20 July 1831, but no idea if their other children William Chalmers, Alexander, Andrew II or Henry are buried there.

Hi Peter  sorry can't see a headstone for Rodger & Catherine, a number of years ago
the council policy was to remove fallen that hindered the cutting of the grass.
from the 1881 census I see they had a number of children,
if you know who they marrird let me know so I can check index
there is this inscription from Abbotshall Cemetery could this be one of them?
445      James MOYES died 13.9.1941
      late superintendent of Ballingry Cemetery
his Wife Joan TURPIE died 6.4.1964
their son Donald died 11.9.1987 age 77

Thanks very much Norrie.
Is there a chance my two maiden aunts are buried in the same cemetery ?
Christian Rodger (miss)
Jessie Rodger (miss)

Very likely the same burial plot as they lived together.

Any help very appreciated.
