No, I didn't register - just clicked on find a person - entered surname & county and then clicked on resulted names.

Does it still not work?

Casalguidi, have just tried to use it and the window stated that there is a problem and the tech are looking into it

Sometimes it works perfectly and sometimes there are problems with it, it seems.
While chatting to my mother on the phone a while ago, I absent-mindedly clicked on this site, entered a name and a County and discovered the person I'd been searching for for over 2 years.  I would never have found him otherwise, and would never have had the subsequent pleasure of talking to him about events nearly 80 years ago in my gt-grandmother's life...

Just out of curiousity I put my details in, it came up with the address that we were at over  2 years ago.

What I don't understand is that we have received our voting cards at our current address and voted in the General Election, so the site is obviously not updated very often.

It may not be very reliable if you are trying to find a person using this source.

It is not a current edition and it does appear to be about 2/3 years old judging from when my mother in law and brother in law moved so you are quite right - a lot of people have obviously moved on but the neighbours function could be really useful in those cases.
