do you have his marriage cert for father's details?

more than one possible baptism

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KCLN-BSR

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KCLN-BBJ

and there may be others who didn't have a parish baptism.

Any chance of a look-up on 1841 Census please. Family search has birth and 1841 Census of a John Davies of Llanartheney. Thanks, Syljun

Thank you Osprey, Hopefully one of the John's will be mine. Problem with families is that all the children have same names handed down for generations.
As always your help is invaluable, thank you. Syljun
