William Doolan

Hello there, I'm looking for any information/family history related to my great grandfather, William Doolan. He was born in 1862 in Moystown or Lisclooney, Huntston, King's County, Ireland. His parents are Kieran Doolan (Farmer) and Mary Kelly. He migrated to Queensland, Australia around 1880-1885. Any information on his family in Ireland, before he moved to Australia, would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Stephen Doolan in Huntson on the 1901 Irish Census and his first son is called Kieran - I'm wondering is Stephen a possible sibling for your William

I've been trying to find a connection to Stephen Doolan but have so far been unable to do so. All I know is that Stephen lived in the same area William lived and most of Stephen's sons names are also male names that are passed down through my Doolan family. Also, two of Stephen's daughters, Norah Patricia and Mary Ellen Doolan migrated to Queensland, Australia.

I had a quick look on the free index on ifhf and it shows 4 siblings to William..........Thomas, Margaret, Kieran and Marian, no Stephen that I can see though
