I am trying to find the baptism date and parents of Joseph Keep, born in Wootton in about 1794
(There might have been more than one Joseph Keep born around that time!)

his father Richard keep born 1763 married Elizabeth  hull 1788 they had 11 children,   Richard keep was convicted 5Th Aug 1807 at the summer assizes wootton for receiving stolen goods he was sentenced to 14 yrs and transported departing portsmouth 2 July 1808 aboard the admiral gambier arrived Sydney Australia 22 dec 1808 shipping records show Richard keep age 42 native of wootton bedfordshire religion Cof E ,occupation shown as convict his parents were thomas keep and Ann bates

Hi, thank you for the info.
I was trying to establish the connection with Richard Keep , and had found three different birth/baptism dates on different trees.
Is 24th April taken from the parish register?
 Joseph's baptism doesn't appear on LDS

Also a Tree has THOMAS 1789 dying 1837, but there is a Marriage on F/S for a Thomas age 64, Father RICHARD Marrying a Ann IRONS 30 Nov 1854.
1861 Census he is with Ann in Kempston, Beds, born c 1788 Wootton.
1841/1851 Census he is Married to a MARY.
This would fit the 1809 Marriage to Mary MOBBS on FreeREG
