Anthony Saunders may have been one of my great grandfathers. If he was, without looking it up, he was born Uffington c1830 died c1900. If not, probably his father. Fuller is a name that featured in my wider Saunders family later. 30 years ago, most Uffington families (they had their names over the front door) were related to the Saunders family. My grandmother, Florence Saunders 1878 to 1953 was born in Uffington. I can still smell her rock cakes, yummy!
