Thats a good find, as it does appear to rule out the one I found in 1881.

The other awkward  thing is that by 1901 and 1911 he was using his middle name of Joseph.
There`s a slight chance this may be `Nellie` the witness, she is in the right area as the Crofts were from there also. 
No marriage found between McKenna and Crofts ( just a thought)

Cracked it. JJ is under the name of McKenna until he marries as Fitzgerald.

My problem now is finding Ellen Fitzgerald in 1861.
In both 1871 and 1851 her father is a bookbinder, but where are they in 1961.
