Lipton's & Mackey's of Itereera, Tedavnet
« on: Saturday 03 November 12 14:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I have a Joseph Lipton (Lupton\ Lepton) & Eliza Mackey(McKay\ Markey\ Macky) married 8 Dec 1856 in Tedavnet.

Joseph was from Itereera, his father was William
Eliza was also from Itereera, her father also William

Joseph says he's born circa 1838 in Monaghan County
& Eliza circa 1838 same area

The only Lipton's I can find are in the Clones area, wondering if any are in the Tedavnet area.

Does anyone have access to Tedavnet Parish Records? If so could someone check in to the Lipton's and Mackey's of that area?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

There were other Tedavnet Liptons also at Golagh (William + Elizabeth 1820's), Graffagh (Thomas + Elizabeth 1840's), Tirnaskea (William + Jane 1830's)

There was a Lipton tree on Dippam but it doesn't seem to be there now!
