Hi, I have the book Essex Machine Breakers which gives details of Thomas if you would like them.
There is a description of him, details of his parents, children etc.
He was pardoned on 3/8/1837.

Hello Lin WJ
I have details of the three brothers and their families in England, and I know of their journey - well, as much as seems to have been published - to Tasmania.     I also have some of their convict records - one was flogged, a couple were otherwise punished, who they were assigned to  - and I know they were all pardoned in the end.     However, there the story seems to end.     I would like to find out what happened to Thomas after he was pardoned.     If there is anything in your book about that I would love to know of it.
     Thanks, hopefully yours
Coelmar

Hello,
Does anyone have information on Abraham Carrington one of the Kirby conspirators mentioned in Malcolm Batty's book?   I have a ggg grandfather Abraham Carrington, born about 1783 in Bradfield, Essex, close to Kirby.  He was married to Elizabeth Gunn.  I would like to see if he was the same Abraham Carrington.  Also any information on Elizabeth Gunn of Essex.

Hi Coelmar,

I’m just wondering if you got any further forward with your research into the Grant brothers? We would appear to be from the same Grant, Southgate and Hammond line.

Regards,
