Bernard O'Connor - Roscommon b. approx 1810

hi all,

I'm looking for information on a Bernard O'Connor who married a Mary McDermott sometime around 1825-1835.
They had a son, Martin Loftus O'Connor, born approx 1836 in Roscommon who immigrated to Australia.

I have further information on Martin but cannot find anything about his parents or siblings. I've seen a few Bernard's mentioned but nothing concrete linking to the McDermott's or his son Martin.

Even maybe an O'Connor/Loftus or McDermott/Loftus marriage may be of help.

If anyone is able to help I'd be most appreciative!

as you probably know, your searches are before civil registration so you would need information re a townland or a parish at least.

Family Search has Martin's baptism  here

and a sister Bridget which indicates Kilbride Parish. 

Here is Griffiths Valuation (abt 1850s) for Kilbride Civil Parish which I think the RC Parish corresponded to.  There are both family names in that parish.

Yeah I spotted the familysearch ones just after I posted, but couldn't find anything on the parents.
Seems the O'Connors were a lil aristocratic in the area and I found some references to a few Bernard's in a Heraldry piece on Ancestry but nothing definite, seems it's a common family name though around there.
