I believe my great grandfather,Patrick Woods was born in Kilbeggan in 1837.His parish birth record gives his parents as Lecky Woods And Ellen Flattery, and I was wondering if the name Lecky is a nickname and if so of what name? ???Any help appreciated,Paul

There are quite a few people with Lecky as a second forename in both the 1901 and 1911 census' both males and females. The few I looked at were either Irish Church or Presbyterian.
