Annie Rowe born 1871 Braunton Devon

 Annie Rowe was born in Devon, listed in the 1901 census as residing in Pontypridd Glamorgan. Her spouse was Charles Rowe, born in Bodmin Devon, they had 3 children, 
   Charles Rowe, Edwin John Rowe and William Joseph Rowe.

   The family story is that she had connections with Burry Port and is found in the 1911 census as visiting Burry port, but I have failed to find any connections to relations living there.

I can't find a marriage - for Annie's maiden name?
The 1911 census suggests a marriage c1899?

There is a Samuel Rowe living in Burry Port - maybe he is related to Charles & Harry?

yes that's them.  Annie Rowe is my great grandmother, Edwin John Rowe my grandfather.  I only knew that she came from the Barnstable area and had connections to Burry Port. What I find so confusing is that I cannot find birth  or marriage records for her.
  To add further confusion my grandfather has two different birth places, one for Pontypridd and the other for Penshiwceiles in Carmarthen. Again his records are proving elusive, none of my living relatives have any more information or certificates.

  Thanks for the replies much appreciated I will go and further research Charles Rowe, maybe the answer lies there.

don't think that mistranscribed place of birth is in Carmarthenshire. Looks like it should start Penrhiw....  top of the hill, and the most likely place is Penrhiwceibr which would match the Pontypridd birth reg.
