Sarah Fullertons parents were Alexander Fullerton & Unity McCraven.

I am related to this family and have done some of the family tree.

I have a daughter born to Sarah & Bernard in 1883/  Her name was Annie.  She married an Edward Fullerton on 9 Nov 1911 in Lexington Boston USA.  They had at least 3 children up until 1919.

Edward Fullertons parents were John Fullerton & Ellen Jack (possibly Jackson).  From what I have to date Edward's father John & Annie's Mother Sarah would have been cousins.

Would love to know your friends connection to this family.

Regards
Marie

What a surprise to get this information and thanks for posting it. I was checking out the brief info from the 1851 census that gave an Alexander Fullerton with wife Sarah in Shandrim- is this a different family? Am interested where you got the details of Alexander and Unity as with the parish records starting so late I was at a loss to know here to search next. The only possible lead I had was the Scottish one.
I know very little about this family as I am helping a friend of a friend with whom I'm not in direct contact - but will PM you later.

Part of this family tree was completed in the mid 1970's and the wifes names was provided then.  I will have to check out the pension return you mention.

Will let you know if I find out anything.

Re Census search form the correct address for the Alex Fullerton making the request to search the census for the family of Alex & Sarah Fullerton of Shandrim was Duntason Drumfries. So he was living in  Donegal not Scotland at the time of application 18 Jan 1918 . Curiously I can't find him in the 1901 but found him in the 1911 census age 62 in Shandrim. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Donegal/Mintiaghs/Shandrim/492422/
Would there a connection with the family of Sarah Fullerton?

Have just found out that Alexander Fullerton of the 1911 Census married Mary O Donnell of Sledrin in 1888.

I have an Edward Fullerton, son of Alexander Fullerton, married Mary Coyle in Carndonagh 8 Feb 1871. Edward's address is given as Minaward. There is no Address given for Alexander. Mary & Edward had 3 children, Mary Ann b 1872 in Buncrana district, Alexander b 1880 in Derry and Bridget b 1879 in Derry. Does any of this fit with you?
