Hi John,
Was Mary Holman mother of Mary Thomas?
I have a photo of Mary Vallentine (date of around 1870-80) Nee Thomas. Sorry no wedding photo but also have a photo of Martin. Their grave site remains in Cheltenham, Port Adelaide
My maternal grandparents were William & Florence Vallentine. I was raised by them owing to the early death of my mother. They had 3 children, all pre-deceased their parents.
I know of one living cousin. I have mainly Vallentine information only.

Hi Organicgardener,
I am a descendent of William and Mary Thomas through their son William Wilfred Thomas born 1852 in Adelaide.
Where do you fit into the family?

I see that you are from the Watters line!  Nonetheless, I have family information that you may be interested in.

Hi,
William Watters who married Mary Thomas was my greatgreat Grandfathers's twin brother. This twinning was probably the influential factor in Mary and William producing twins even though they did only lived for a few months.
I am particularly interested in any photos of Mary and William although I suspect there won't be any as photography did not get going until after William disappeared to the Victorian goldfields. I would be pleased if there was a photo of Mary as the only photographic evidence of this union is of the Cornwall Inn ruins at Willunga which were cleared to build the Willunga by-pass.

Cheers

John
