Thank you Lizdb,
The inscription on the grave stone said he was” Killed” so I would have thought there would have been a report in the paper! The grave must have cost a fortune; maybe it was paid for by insurance?

If you go to the Daily Mirror Archives on
http://www.ukpressonline.co.uk

You will have to register first. Then search for Ernest Bennett and restrict dates to 1934, select the drop down item to 'gallery', then search and among the results you will get this very small extract which may be part of a headline.

Daily Mirror, Thu 26 Apr 1934 Page 3
Youth Fatally Injured Ernest Bennett

You will have to decide whether to buy the article or not.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for that Keldon.
So it looks like there was a report on Ernest [W M] Bennett, I will look in to it,
It would be interesting to know how much is reported! It could be only one or two lines or half a column & what it will cost.
Thanks again.
