If you look at the amazing web site called Jerripedia you will probably find his birth and ancestors. Most of Jersey birth records are now on line going back to very early times.they are gradually putting marriages and deaths.Very easy to search by looking at the fe churches there.

Ringrose,

I already had a look at Jerripedia!
Nothing for Thomas or William, but a few others?

Within the last hour!! ;D

Presumably the Jerripedia baptisms are all Anglican?

I am still looking for 2 baptisms/births for c1842/3, which I strongly suspect to be Bible Christian!

For me? No! :(
My family were Vanstone, from North Devon.
Arrived on Jersey 1840-ish, and were in Bath by 1846!

I did find them on the 1841 census, though! ;D
