I am very pleased with the response. Thank you very much everyone. I will be working on this for a while I can see!
So I can share and help someone else in the future - a few comments on the Kennedy-Skiptons.
There are three daughters on the 1911 Census in Londonderry. Two sons in England.
Six children on the census as having been born to the Skipton/Plane marriage. That means one unknown has been born and has died. Short Bios of the Sons below.
Horace Kenneth Kennedy Skipton. Royal Naval Air Service and RAF during WW1. Previously he had been the designer and builder of the Kennedy motor car which did badly because of the war. Died Ireland 1 April 1972. Probably Dublin. A Shakespearean Scholar in his later life.
George Stacey Kennedy-Skipton. Probably the last child and born in Cheltenham. Left England/Ireland 31 December 1921 the day he joined the Hong Kong Civil Service. Married an American lady missionary probably in Hong Kong, possibly Canton, 1924.
Two daughters, possibly still alive, one went to America and was the most brilliant of all of the Kennedy-Skiptons with her work as an archivist (not an architect as one ship's manifest states). Married there. A prolific authour of very high-brow subjects. Twenty years after arrival in Hong Kong the Japanese invaded. George accused of collaborating with the Japanese. Very weak case. Stayed in Hong Kong after the war finally dying in West Kilbride, North Ayrshire, Scotland 1980.
