Could be.  I may have remembered the date wrong.   I don't remember moved to Liverpool as part of that particular post though.

Oh dear.
Than I suggest you have a look and check.
The only thing that has been established so far is that there is a Patrick Halloran living in Castletown in 1831 and a Edmund Halloran living nearby 1855 and we don't know if they are related.

You can't take what someone else posted on a site as fact. If you want to find your O Hollorans I suggest you give us more recent information and than we can see if it's possible to work back.
I'm guessing you're not in Ireland so do you have records of your relatives arriving in your country?
If you want people to help you need to give clear names and dates etc of things you can back up with reliable records otherwise people will just give up.
Don't post any names of living people.

I hate to tell you, but this came from the Catholic bmd records in Tuam.  These people were witnessing each others' marriages.

What came from the BMD records?
If you can't just tell what you know that there is no point to all this.
Just read over the thread and see how many questions you have been asked that you haven't answered.
We can't help if you won't lay things out clearly.
