Tommy ...That's wonderful! Thank you so much  :) :)

What is the difference between the 3.41MB file and what you have done here?  :-\

Hi China

Her husband was a cattle dealer in Gloucestershire…so maybe she didn’t keep up with the trends!

In the ‘children’s picture’ we have:
Back row L to R:
Gwendoline b 1893, Frank b 1896, unknown
Front row L to R
May b 1894,  Joseph b 1898

In the family Group:
L to R
Joseph 1898, May 1894, Marjorie 1906, Gwendoline 1893

If Marjorie is the little girl with the “Iona” hat on wouldn’t the other children look older?
Gwen is 13 years older than Marjorie and May 12 years ….

If the family pic is circa 1905 that would mean the little ’Iona Hat” girl may be Joseph …LOL …kidding!

Please help

Deb

The boy and girl have similar hats - so perhaps they are school or kindergarten uniform or similar.

I agree GS ... They both have the frilly collar shirt on although the boy's one seems to be undone. The shorts and skirt also remind me of a school uniform.

They lived in Tetbury Gloucestershire in 1901 and 1911 ..I hgave tried googling schools but have up short.

hummm...the two older girls have the same dress although they look like they may be different colours.

If Mum died in 1909 and this was taken circa 1905-10, she would have been in her mid 40's

If she was a dress maker she probably got a bolt of material and made the childrens outfits. My mother did the same and often my brother and I had outfits from identical material, so I dont think they are school uniforms.
Just my opinion
