hi its me again, i have this old penny and i cant make out why this one little bit is shinier. it is on both sides in the same place.
the questions i have are
would it have had a hole in it and been filled
and would it have been done at that time

 hello, the pictures are very big and so the definition is not the best. I can see what look like two rather shinier places, but can`t see what they might be.

Can you send them again a bit smaller?Viktoria.

Hi, it possibly had a hole drilled in it at some time, probably to hang from a chain and was filled in at a later date.
I have come across several old coins where this has been the case.  :)

   I have a 2d silver coin, 3d silver coin and a and 4 d silver coin all with a hole drill in them, now on a bracelet.
