Hi Printer

I have just sent a message to the moderator requesting the post be moved.  The moderator is not online at the moment (probably asleep like I should be lol) so it will probably be moved tomorrow.

Hi,

Welcome to the Canada Board :) :)

Here they are in Peterborough Ontario in 1911
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/SplitView.jsp?id=135141

Looks like their son Wesley died in 1910, as an infant
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JKW7-Z2R

The Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid shows Agnes in the Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough, Section U.
http://ocfa.islandnet.com/ocfa-search.php

Lennox doesn't seem to be listed, but if you search for last name Warren, cemetery: Little Lake,  county: Peterborough --- several names show up.

Hello and welcome from me too  :).

Just wanted to let you know that there is no national registry for BMDs in Canada. Each province takes care of its own registrations. Also, public access to records is controlled by privacy laws. As a general rule, Ontario births are restricted for 100 years, marriages for 80, and deaths for 70. A new year is added to the public index annually. One can, however, order a cert from the restricted years if they meet the strict criteria for doing so.

It is going to be difficult to find BMD info in the time frame you are looking at here. It is unlikely that any of the children w/h been old enough to marry prior to 1928, the last available year (I haven't found any, in any case). We need to use other means such as cemetery records, electoral rolls and newspaper annoucements of BMDs to gain info. Deaths are currently available to 1939.

On the other hand, the 1921 Canada census is due to be released in 2013 and that may be of some help to you, although there is no info yet about whether it will be indexed at release.

Polarbear  :)
We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.

Hello RunKitty & Polarbear,

Thankyou both for giving me that information. I did realise that like in NZ records might also be restricted because of privacy laws. It was a long shot that someone might have some relevant information - had to try. Will wait for the release of 1921 Electoral rolls. Regards.

Son Wesley died Feb 12, 1910 at Peterborough - less than one month old. added:  guess I should actually read the links others post!

The William on the 1915 trip to England would have been Lennox Jr. as his middle name was William.  There is a family tree on ancestry that shows Lennox William died May 11, 1970 at Peterborough, Ontario.  He had 2 children but that information is private.

The family returned to Canada, headed for Peterborough, on the Grampian which arrived 24 Dec 1918.  Lennox (38 ), Agnes (39), William (11 ), Allan (8 ), Frederick (6) and Clynton (4).

Added:

In 1935 Lennox (carpenter), wife Agnes and children William (machinist), Allen (storeskeeper) and Fred (photographer) are all living together in Peterborough (Voters Registration List).  Perhaps son Clinton is married by then.  Clinton appears in the 1945 and 1949 Voters Registration Lists for Peterborough with an unnamed wife.
Allan and wife Kathleen are living at 185 Crescent Ave. Peterborough in 1957 and on the 1963 list widowed Agnes Warren is living with him at the same address and also on the 1965 list.  On the 1972 voters List Allan and Kathleen are at 318 Westlake Blvd along with a Miss R. Warren.
