Headstone photo - please enhance.

I wonder if anyone could enhance this picture of a young soldier's headstone for me. It's not very clear and I'd like to get it done for the young man's niece. This is the largest image of the headstone I could get.
The text reads - 22964554 Private: R. BANKS: 1st Bn. South Staffordshire Regiment. 21st May 1956. Age 20.

Tony do you have a better scan This is a very low 72 dpi

 Unfortunately Irene, this is all I have. I did wonder if it was possible to do anything with it as the resolution is so low. Don't worry if you can't do anything with it - I just thought it was worth a try. I'll have a look at some of the War Grave sites and see if they've got anything better that I can pass on to the man's niece

Thanks Tommy, at least it's legible now! It's a pity the original was such low resolution and black writing on a dark grey stone but at least we can now see what it would have looked like.
