Jenn,

All the info I have is Edward Daborn born c 1877 Hammersmith London and he died in the first WW 1919 as an Australian Infantry, A.I.F. man.

Sorry not much info but Daborn is not a common name in the UK.

Hope this helps, all my info is on our website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~macculloch/

Can I ask for your assistance with some SA Lookups please?

My maternal 2xgreat grandparents Graham MacConnachie/MacConnechy and Christina Noble were married in Glasgow in Oct 1847.  They emigrated to Australia shortly after that.  Graham was a baker.  Could you help me with an arrival date please.

Hi Shako, I'm brand new in here and I hope I am not being presumptuous in asking for some help already.
If you are happy to will you look up somewhere for a John Joseph Brown? He would have been born about 1876 but not sure if it was in Australia or he travelled here. We think he was in the Mt Gambier area, He may have had a brother (twin even) named probably Edward, coz there was some reference to Ted. We know he married Sylvia Ethel Attrill born about 1886 and had lived in Milicent, travelled to WA and married our man in Dongarra  Oct 4 1912. JJ Brown's death is known but alas not his beginning. JJ's Father was given as John Brown (deceased), Mother Emma Davies.
I would be most grateful if you could do this for me.
Cheers,
Darrell.

Hi Darrel,
Using these 2 sites, I have been able to conform the marriage in WA in 1912.
I have located Sylvia's interrment.  She died in 1/5/1972 aged 86 in the suburb of Daglish

http://www.mcb.wa.gov.au/NameSearch/search.php

http://www.openwindows.com/marriage/search.htm

You can easily search and see this.  There is a John Joseph Brown with an age of death that tallies with your 1876 birth date for him.  He died in 1947 aged 71 in North Fremantle.
This man was Roman Catholic, as the details will show. Is this the information that you already have?
