Tidd Ludly
« on: Thursday 27 December 12 19:06 GMT (UK) »
Hello folks

I've found one "Tidd Ludly" in Grantham in the 1841 census; a 20 yr old servant, born in county, residing with John Barnes (30, farmer) and Elizabeth Barnes (45 - both born in county) in Back St, Grantham.

I can't find any other trace of this person and wondered if anyone can spot him under any other guise in any other documentation?

My interest is piqued because my ancestor John Tidd m Mary Ludlow (or Ludley - the cert clearly says Ludlow but their son was John Ludley Tidd) in Grantham in 1795, and Tidd Ludly's name just looks like it might give me more clues to this family!

Thanks :)
