Sorry david I'm not that good.  As you can see by the bit of background that I have cut from the picture and I have magnified this 4 times (400%), you will need to scan the photo again at a higher resolution.

Hi,

I would want to stay as true to the original as possible.  Sharpening won't work here, too many JPEG artifacts, res is too low.
