Thanks Skoosh and brevitas I too am sure this is her daughter but why unmarried perhaps single/widowed? 

Janet Gollan married Donald Forbes in Killearnan in 1839 and had two children Isabella 1840 and William 1842 then nothing    A puzzle!

So what about the marriage that you mentioned

Brevitas this is what I have from 1841 maybe that's not her??  ETA and if it isn't, where the devil is she in 1841-1851?

The marriage entry for 1839 doesn't give any info - Have you tried following Donald and the two children in 1851?

I notice the Bells - maybe follow the 20-24 one. She may be a relative.
