Burial in Dorset
« on: Friday 28 December 12 12:36 GMT (UK) »
Hello

Can anyone help me further with this search please.

A lady died in Christchurch but lived in Sandbanks  Dorset.  She was aged 89 and died in 1949.

I have searched through the Dorset burials on ancestry but have had no luck finding a burial.  Does anyone know if these records are complete?  Maybe she was buried in the area where she died and not where she lived.

If this county can be eliminated for a resting place for this lady I can continue searching maybe in the Christchurch area.

Thank you for any help.
Ewan

Hello Nanny Jan, thank you for the link regarding Dorset FHS.  There looks to be a number of transcriptions made of MIs so I will contact them to see if they can help, failing that it would be help from the Dorset record office I think.
