Tommy, I frame some of them, give copies to other relatives doing the same research - but only after I've put several into one of the albums I have. These are usually leather with metal bits and metal clasps to shut them. The pages are mostly thick cardboard and, in many cases, with gold leaf top, bottom and down the side. The photos are slipped into framelike places without glue. Even so it is often impossible to get the photos out without damage so in that case I have to scan as is - a bit of juggling is needed to get it right - 3 hands instead of 2 would be handy for this. I have attached three album fronts for you to see.
