When was he born? have you found in any records (birth, marriage, death, census, etc.)?
The more information you give us the easier it will be to help you.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

There is a family of Wynnes from Stratford on Slaney, just a couple of miles from Baltinglass.
I think Charles is a name that has been used through the generations.
There is a Charles Wynne in a 1926 photo of my grandfathers wedding. He was best man. It was only identified during this week.
Despite high infant mortality rates and lower life expectancies, not one of your direct ancestors died childless.

thank you for the information,i am researching the moorehouses in baltinglass area,in 1906 mary jane moorehouse married a john ralph.the witnesses were charles wynne and hannah wynne.in 1923 thomas moorehouse married mary tutty in donoughmore parish,baltinglass.the witness were,william john wynne and alice bride blake.william was 18 yrs.the wynnes were friends of the moorhouses,i also think there is a police connection,not sure where yet.i think john was the son of charles,are they related to your family,thank you in advance,tom

The Wynnes are not related to me but one of them is a friend of mine.

The Moorehouse name does ring a bell, though I don't think they are still in the area. Leave it with me and I will see if I can come up with any information.
