Sir George Griffiths Williams
« on: Sunday 30 December 12 13:53 GMT (UK) »
William Holwell Short m 12 April 1831 Eliza Maria Griffiths d/o  Sir George Griffiths Williams Bart of Llwynny wood Carmarthen

.I have tried to find Sir George Griffiths on the census with no luck.  I have tried to find his Estate and that may have been mistranscribed and is not coming up.  I am wondering if the estate is the one Prince Charles owns in Myddfai  LlwynWormwood??

Any help would be appreciated
Sandra

There is a mention of it being a 13 bedroomed country house of the Griffies-Williams family here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llwynywermod

Prince Charles appears to have the coach house that once belonged to the family.

William holman short born 1802 Derbyshire..married Eliza maria Dulcima Griffies Williams in 1831..and had one child in Ashover 1833.appears to have been in New York in 1832..........There is some history that the Baronetcy created in 1815 required a name change from Griffies (Grffiths) to Williams....Eliza maria Dulcima was the third daughter and fifth child of the said Baronet.
