Hi everyone
I am trying to find anything for Thomas Fitzpatrick c 1883 Portarlington.

I have located him on the last census at 12 Poplar St, Sheffield, with his wife Florence, possible maiden name Crump, c 1889 Sheffield (cannot find a birth reg), 2 children Thomas 1909 & Winifred 1910 both born Sheffield. States married 2 yrs and 2 children born, 2 living, but it looks like Thomas was born before marriage....

I have a possible marriage for them @ West Ham, England  June 1910.

I cannot find him on 1901 census, so he may have still been in Ireland -  Do census records exist for Ireland ???

Can anyone do a look up for a birth / baptism please, anything else would be a bonus.

King regards

Thanks heywood, will look at the link later.

I am searching for a Fitzpatrick marrying to a Crump, only found 2 entries 1903 @ Warrington and 1910 West Ham, both same sets of names, Thomas F to a Florence C, so maybe this family I "think is correct" is maybe not and that is why I cannot find this wife's birth in Sheffield.

Another reason I thought this family was correct is because family believed the Fitzpatrick grandfather came from Ireland.

I am searching for the parents of Joseph Lewis Thomas Fitzpatrick, 7 April 1916 Warrington, Lancs, mothers maiden name, CRUMP, he died Goole, Yorkshire May 1991. Most likely his birth cert will have to be ordered.

The marriage @ Warrington 1903 a Thomas Fitzpatrick marrying a Florence Crump and he was born Colombo, Ceylon, living Clerkenwall, Islington, London, maybe his father was in the Army in Ceylon and maybe came from Ireland.

As for the marriage of, same names again, Thomas Fitzpatrick to Florence Crump @ West Ham 1910, I cannot find these on last census, so where were they  ???

More thinking and searching,
bendywendy

Hello,

I think I am following this.  ;)

1911 free index does show a Florence in Warrington and if you put her in 'other members' it brings up several names including a Thomas.
As you say, the birth certificate would be best.
There is a Thomas in 1901 who would perhaps fit.
If yours is the Warrington one, I think you will find them there.

best wishes
heywood
