Hi Dave

The dicing on the glengarry and the top of the hose looks like Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. But a better scan of the cap badge is needed.

The limit on the forum is 500 Kb and yours is 16 - so if you can scan at a much higher resolution (say 600 dpi or better) and cut and paste just the cap you will not exceed the limit - assuming you have the original.

Could be Seaforths or Gordons.
If the buttons on the spats are black, it is Gordons.

with a magnifying glass I can see the exposed antlers of the Seaforth's stag's head as opposed to the Gordon's antlers inside a wreath
