Hi,
I have been sent some photos of a headstone from Templehollow graveyard, just outside Killaloe, Co. Clare. What I can transcribe is as follows:
"To the memory of Michl Molony of Killaloe
who departed this life the 6th Nov. 1845 aged 18 years
And his wife Honora Molony alias
Drinke who died ? Nov ?
aged 32 years
[then some Latin]"
Would it be possible to find out any more about these people, and feel free to poke holes in my transcribing efforts, I'm sure I have some parts wrong.
My own Moloney family comes from Killaloe, and the surrounding areas, and I believe there could be a connection between this headstone and my family.
