"Unread" Postings

just to add a bit, most I have is 5 pages, there sems to be a connection with whether you actually go to any of the unreads, also if a topic goes to more than one page you have to go to the last page, having said that I still cant see any logical pattern.

Logged back in 22:12, and now got 4 pages( 282 posts) and the earliest one is today at 08:26am

so now changed.

Logged on just now at 02:26 UK time 13:26 AEDST, had five pages. Did not count the numer per page, but that is about the usual number of pages I get after logging off about(very) 17:00 AEDST

PS just noted the smilies have reduced in size Makes it a bit hard to sort them out

Had to log off, and then back on about 2:56GMT. Had one(1) page, of twelve(12) topics.

Was off line for only two or three minutes.

Logged in 09:30, had 2 and 1/2 pages, (177) posts, earliest post was Yesterday at 22:14.

I have 5 pages now (about 75 topics per page so about 375 topics) dating back to when I logged on yesterday afternoon (logged off last night) to when I logged on again just now.

Just to check - am I looking at the right thing? 'Unread' next to 'Replies' top left hand side? The 'replies' bit seems ok.

Hi Pat,

Yes, that is the one I am using. Did you "Logout", somebody just close down, but they are still logged in.

I don't always logout but have been doing so since this discussion started to see if it made a difference - sometimes it has & sometimes it hasn't   

Having logged out while I had lunch I just logged in again and still have 5 pages, last topic goes up to my login time (5 minutes ago).
