Annie Summers
« on: Friday 04 January 13 18:13 GMT (UK) »
Annie Summers or maybe Mary Ann Summers (b) 1875. She had a son John Summers (b)illegitimate 1901. Her usual domicile was Savoch Cottage Auchnagatt but I have found she also lived at Ann St Aberdeen. I have hit a brick wall as cannot find any other member of her family or if she did eventually marry anyone or when she died. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi Monica, John Summers died in 1983 and as I don't live in the UK this has proved difficult and there are no surviving members of his family left to help me out. I will be in Edinburgh this month and will be visiting the records office so hopefully this will give me the clues that I need. I thought if I posted on here prior to my visit it may give me some pointers. Thank you for your interest.

Just a thought but in the 1901 census she is staying with another family Bella is born in Ellon to I wonder if the girls are related. It may be worth checking her marriage to see if Bellas maiden name was Summers

From the 1881 census I discovered that her parents were William & Margaret . There are a few public family trees on ancestry which indicate that Margaret's maiden name was Mutch. Hope this helps,
